Dunes
The "Noordhollands Duinreservaat", one off Hollands most beautifull and largest hiking- and bikingreserves starts at the edge of Bergen. By foot or by bike, the dunes are a rare place, sandy hills with a unique vegetation of wild flowers in wide open spaces, or bicycle tracks surrounded by shrubs, trees and wildlife. Especially in the early morning or at dusk the dunes become a magical place.
Forest
Old trees, long lanes, moats and ruins are just 15 minutes walking distance away. Have a morning walk, or run, in a golden lined forest.

The apartment is in a very good state, new, very clean, comfortable and modern equipped. The photos come close to the discription very much. A small nice terrace with view in the garden exists. The surrounding is very quit. In the outside area are a modern sauna, a comfortable seat group with a grill place. Tastefully decorated. The village is to be reached in a few minutes. We enjoyed the short trip very much and we can recommend the lodging absolutely!”

“Machteld’s place was truly amazing, a gem at walking distance to the town. The pictures do not do the apartments justice; sparkling clean, a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and sunflowers on the table. Each apartment has a different scene, all tastefully decorated. The sauna was a beautiful addition and the outside seating has a heat lamp and a fridge stocked with lots of goodies. I hope to come back to your small paradise! Karin”
